SKJOLD stackable chair

When I designed the SKJOLD stackable chair for FINDAHLS, I tried to make  the best of the wide back,  which is a logic consequence of the most common stacking-principle (with the back-legs outside the seat). The result was a quite huge, embracing, organic shaped back, with a slightly double-curved geometry which gives the chair a particularly good comfort. 

The tapering legs adds energy and "lift" to the design. 

The characteristic shape of the back makes the chair well suited for arrangements in rows, e.g. in churches or assembly-halls, as it appears calmly and nice when multiplicated.
